ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation Hospital

Who you will help

Citizens of southern Israel have never had a facility to treat neuro-muscular and orthopedic medical issues. They've had to travel far from home, often for extended periods of time.

ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran provides state-of-the-art services that were previously nonexistent in southern Israel, including outpatient and long-term rehabilitation for people in need of intense in-patient rehabilitation or post-hospitalization rehabilitation to facilitate an accelerated and complete return to independent living. ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran provides thousands of rehabilitation treatments to people from surrounding communities each month.

At the same time, ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran is undergoing radical growth to meet the country’s rehabilitative needs. The ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitative Hospital, the first rehabilitative hospital in the Negev region, will feature 108 rehabilitative hospital beds and Israel’s first translational research institute, increasing the number of Israel’s rehabilitative hospital beds dramatically, bringing quality care to the residents of the south, creating more housing and jobs in the Negev, and laying the groundwork for the establishment of fully inclusive communities across the country.

As well, the new facility will be purpose-built to withstand rocket attacks and provide shelter to citizens in this area very close to Gaza.

Location
