With COVID restrictions, how will the Golf Classic take place?

Due to the relaxing of COVID restrictions, there will be an outdoor reception following golf.  

There will be food stations on course, and will be COVID-friendly.  

There will still be hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive contests and the like.

Prizes will be awarded for lowest score, most honest golf team and top fundraiser.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my registration fee now that the tournament has changed?

Yes!  Due to the lower benefit to the golfer, JNF will issue a tax receipt for the maximum allowable by CRA.  The exact amount of the receipt will be determined after the tournament once all expenses have been calculated.

The tax receipt will be issued in early 2023.


What if there is a another wave of COVID which disallows the conduct of the tournament?

If possible, the date will be rescheduled to later in the summer should restrictions be lifted for a later date.  If we are unable to conduct the tournament due to COVID, or if a rescheduled date is inconvenient, players will have the option of receiving a full tax receipt or a credit for next year's tournament.  Upon request, a refund can be issued.
