Jaffa's Institute Space Mobile

Who you will help

Jaffa Institute provides after-school educational programming to children in the disadvantaged Jaffa neighbourhood. Their programs are crucial to keeping children learning and out of trouble, supporting them to stay engaged with interesting subjects, volunteer opportunities and academic support. Their Science Mobile Program was a tremendous success, with previously uninterested students eagerly awaiting the arrival of the mobile science class. To harness this excitement, they are launching a new Space Mobile Program to provide more after-school learning opportunities to students and increase engagement in subjects like physics, chemistry, gravity, energy, solar systems, satellites and spaceships. The Mobile route visits more than 20 after-school centers in their network.

Powered by solar panels on the RV roof, this educational mobile offers interactive learning tools designed to broaden students' awareness of STEM subjects. Your donation funds the construction and outfitting of the mobile unit.
