Thank you to all those who registered, we look forward to seeing you on August 17th!

On Monday, August 17th, JNF Future is sponsoring its 3rd annual Driving to the Future Golf Tournament in support of the Jaffa Daled After-School Education Enrichment Centre.

This year's tournament will take place at 3 separate courses to allow for social distancing. We may be playing apart, but we are still supporting a meaningful cause together.

Donations will go to support The Jaffa Daled After-School Educational Enrichment Center provides educational, nutritional, recreational and therapeutic support to at-risk children and teenagers, 70% of whom are of Ethiopian descent. Maintaining a balance of children from Ethiopian families and those from other ethnic backgrounds avoids isolating the children and teenagers of Ethiopian descent and encourages their integration into Israeli society.

While the Center currently serves 30 children, there remains a critical need within the community to assist additional children and teenagers and their families. The neighborhood in which the Center operates is one of the most deprived and poverty stricken areas in Israel, with 50% of the population living below the poverty line. 53% of the children in this area drop out of school before completing the 12th grade.

To address these challenges, the money being raised from this event will help to expand programs to help marginalized children and teenagers at Jaffa Daled to enjoy the full benefit of the Jaffa Daled Enrichment Programs. In the after-school and early evening hours, the Center will house new educational enrichment groups designed to meet the needs of teenagers who have been involved in dangerous situations as a result of their troubled backgrounds. The staff will provide these youth with emotional support and tools to cope with the challenges of adolescence.

If you are making a donation, thank you! If you want to help raise these critical funds please register, send out emails to family and friends and help make this much needed program expansion a reality.
